Best time of year
May to September
Seasonal prices? if yes what months?
The Cloisters of San Francesco Wedding Venue is right in the heart of Sorrento, within easy distance of most hotels and reception venues. The Cloisters is an old monastery and today still has the historic domed ceilings synonymous with this type of building.
Today the 14th century cloisters is home to an art gallery and is used for open air concerts. This is also our most requested venue for legal weddings in Sorrento and you can understand why when you visit the cloisters and step inside the tranquil oasis, a complete contrast from the bustle of the main piazza just a stroll away.
The open aired terrace of the cloisters can seat guests church style or for more intimate weddings guests can stand.
Following a Cloisters of San Francesco wedding we recommending having drinks and maybe even an ice cream in the nearby ‘communale’ so you can take in the views out to sea and have photographs in this incredibly vibrant setting.
For reception ideas following your wedding please contact our team to discuss prices and costs.
Restrictions to note
Supplement applies to Mon/Wed/Friday afternoon ceremonies and weekends.
This venue is not private, however guests can only access the outside area near the gallery and signs will be prominent to show a service is in place.
