If you’re not already aware of the increasing popularity of a wedding website then keep reading!
Wedding Websites are not only fun to design, but are also a great and convenient way of providing your guests with wedding details and updates all in one place up until the big day! This way you don’t have to go through the hassle of contacting individual guests every time you have an update that they need to be made aware of. You can simply add the update to your website for all to see!
Creating a website may not be necessary if the only details your guests need is a wedding date/time and address, but if you’re tying the knot overseas…there are so many ways in which you can make use of a wedding website!
Wedding Day Details
The most obvious and important information to include are the basics…your wedding destination, date, address and time.
If you’re providing transport for your guests to the wedding, be sure to include information on pickup location/time. Don’t worry if you don’t have these details so far in advance, just state that these are yet to be confirmed and add the details at a later date!
If there are a choice of dishes on your menu for your guests to choose from, include the options on the website and have your guests fill in their choice.
If your guests haven’t visited your wedding destination before, they may benefit from your recommendations on the best locations/hotels to stay at. Alternatively, provide them with details of a travel agent who can help them arrange their travel and accommodation.
If this applies, make sure your guests are aware if it’s a black tie event or a relaxed affair!
If you want to include an RSVP, add the link on your invites and ask guests to RSVP on your wedding website!
If there are any additional details that your guests need to be made aware of then let them know on your website! Whether it be a pre wedding dinner taking place the day before the wedding or a boat cruise to continue the celebrations the day after.
Our Santorini bride Lianne had an amazing website made for her wedding which is taking place next month and we can’t help but keep sharing this for all of our brides and grooms to see! See it here.
