We’ve got a treat for you on the blog today! We’re taking a look back at our prettiest wedding abroad cakes from 2016!
Bride’s to be….now is the time to take a break, grab a cup of coffee/tea and get inspired!
Santorini – Melanie and John
This beautiful two tier cake was chosen by our Santorini couple Melanie and John for their wedding day. The cake was decorated in pink icing with pretty ivory roses to match the bride’s bouquet!
Jacqui and Robert – Ibiza
Steering away from the ‘traditional’ wedding cake, Jacqui and Robert opted for a one tier chocolate cake along with cupcakes for their wedding guests. We bet these went down a treat!
Ammie and Craig – Italy
Ammie and Craig opted for a stunning three tier cake decorated with white icing, ribbon and florals to match the bride’s bouquet. The couple also made their cake table centre of attention with beautiful purple and ivory florals and candle light!
Laura and Ash – Santorini
Keeping it white and simplistic, Laura and Ash chose a chocolate and vanilla three tier cake decorated with ivory roses.
Kelly and Noel – Zante
Cupcakes are becoming increasingly popular for weddings and we can see why, who doesn’t love a cupcake!? Our Zante couple Kelly and Noel chose to treat their guests each to a cupcake as well as having a one tiered cake to cut! We love the shiny, gold cupcake holders and ‘Mr and Mrs’ bunting!
Layla and David – Santorini
This beautiful replica of a Santorini blue domed church was Hayley and David’s wedding cake! Layla fell in love with this unique design on pinterest and knew it would be perfect for her wedding on the beautiful Greek Island!
Hayley and David = Italy
This is what a traditional Italian wedding cake looks like! Hayley and David chose to have their cake in a beautiful heart shape with fresh strawberries. Their cake table was decorated beautifully with tea lights and rose petals!
Maria and Tomasz – Crete
Maria and Tomasz chose a stunning three tier cake with white icing decorated in sea shells for their special day. This tied in perfectly with their beach wedding. They also added a personalised cake topper which was made especially of the couple scuba diving. This was a lovely personal touch as it’s what the couple learnt to do while in Fiji where they got engaged!
Vicki and Lee – Santorini
We’re in love with Vicki and Lee’s beautiful cake!
The couple chose a three tiered chocolate and vanilla sponge which was decorated with fresh olive leaves to tie in with their wedding theme. The bride described it as ‘delicious!’
Leah and Jonathan – Crete
Leah and Jonathan opted for a glamorous pale blue three tiered cake decorated in lace and pearl piping for their wedding in Crete! This looked lovely with a lilac flower matching the bride’s beautiful flowers!
