Getting married can be great fun - planning a wedding offers an opportunity to bring together two families, many traditions and a whole new life!

Think outside the box when considering a location to wed.  Many opportunities exist - it just takes a little digging.  If you're keeping it small, how about the place in the park where he proposed to you?  Does your local court house have the charm and small town feel?  Your local vineyard available?  How about a country club or private club for an elegant reception?  Museums often have areas specifically for such events.  Or maybe you want your adventurous side to show - a hot air balloon wedding, a roller coaster ride, a marathon ride. 

Whatever you choose, make it a reflection of both of you.  A rented wedding hall, a private home, a church are all popular options.  But if you desire a specific date and your first choice of location is unavailable, keep an open mind and have fun picking your wedding location.  It will be a place you'll always remember in years to come, and a great place to revisit on anniversaries!
