Tennessee Marriage Laws:

• Bride and Groom must appear together when applying for the marriage license
• Proof of age and Social Security Number is required (special requirements for anyone under 18 years of age)
• No blood test or waiting period is required

The license can be issued in any county and the marriage can be performed in any county in the State of Tennessee.  The license is valid for 30 days.  The fee is $95 cash.  If you take an approved 4-hour counseling course, you will get a $60 credit.  For more information please contact your local town clerk's office.
