On the blog today we are sharing a selection of our favourite wedding abroad dresses from 2017!
Of course, this is only a selection of our favourite as there were far too many gorgeous brides and dresses to include them all! If you want to see more, take a look at our real wedding galleries here.
Danielle – Santorini
We are in love with our Santorini bride Danielle’s mermaid style gown by Pronovias. We especially love the hidden gemstone design on the back of the dress.
A word from the bride…’My dress was by Pronovias. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. It didn’t take me long to find, it was the first shop I went in and the third dress I tried on! I always wanted quite a plain dress but with a really detailed back and long train. I knew it was the one as soon as I looked in the mirror and my mum and Maid of Honour started crying.’
Gemma – Santorini
Our beautiful Santorini bride Gemma chose a stunning sheath style gown with a long sleeve illusion lace bodice. This style was perfect for her Santo winery wedding and looked gorgeous with her sophisticated up do hairstyle.
Pam – Zante
Pam opted for an elegant mermaid style gown; we particularly love the beaded Guipure lace bodice!
A word from the bride… “It was a Paloma Blanca Satin mermaid empire cut gown, beaded Guipure lace bodice and appliqués framing the low back. It had beaded spaghetti straps with a fit and flare satin skirt, Swarovski buttons and chapel Train. I fell in love with it there and then”.
Gemma – Crete
Our gorgeous Crete bride Gemma chose a simple sweetheart neckline gown with detailed embroidery on the straps and back. This gown was perfect for Gemma’s relaxed beach wedding in Crete!
Sarah – Santorini
Sarah opted for a gorgeous fishtail lace gown with a stunning cathedral train and beaded straps. This gown was perfect for Sarah’s Sunset View Terrace wedding and looked beautiful with her elegant hairstyle.
Jamie – Italy
Our Italy bride Jamie chose a gorgeous lace gown with an embroidered neckline and back, detail we adore most about this gown is the breathtaking court train!
Lianne – Santorini
Our Santorini bride Lianne looked gorgeous in her ivory ball gown with crystal beaded embroidery. The dress designed by Mori Lee was perfect for her Luxury Private Estate wedding and looked stunning with her elegant up do.
A word from the bride… “As soon as I walked in I was just drawn to this dress and it turned out it was the exact dress that I had found on the internet…it was fate! I tried it on and it’s true, you just know. My mum and sister cried as soon as I come out, I knew I had to get it there and then”
Laura – Santorini
Our gorgeous Santorini bride Laura chose a truly elegant gown for her Santorini wedding, an illusion lace bodice with a fitted A line finish designed by Martina Liana.
A word from the bride… “When I walked out of the changing room and the assistant fitted me with a veil, my mum was in tears and I knew that it was the one. It was elegant, fitted with a stunning train and was completely my style. It also felt like it would be perfect for a wedding in Santorini and the theme I wanted to go for; simple, elegant and modern.”
Charlotte – Croatia
Croatia bride Charlotte wore a stunning lace mermaid style dress with a beautiful embroidered sweetheart neckline by Justin Alexander.
A word from the bride… “I felt it matched perfectly with the Dubrovnik style. It took me a weekend of looking to find it; I knew getting married abroad it would need to be cool so this made it easier to narrow the options down.”
Lily – Santorini
How amazing is our Santorini bride Lily’s gown designed by Berta?! We adore the lace detail and extra long three layered train.
A word from the bride… “My dress was backless with a very long train which was made up of three layers; the bottom layer was a very pale blush pink, with a cream delicate lace overlay on top and a thicker appliqué lace in certain areas. The dress was finished with a matching belt and a floor length veil”
